Thunderbrook Prebiotic Ulsa X Supplement is becoming more and more popular with our in store customers. We have customers reporting some great results. Improvement in their horses behaviour, less grumpy and irritable when girthing up and brushing around the tummy area’s are just some of the positive comments we are hearing

To prepare a tasty mash, add warm water and let it soak for 5 minutes before serving while warm (avoid using boiling water). Cold water can also be used, but allow it to soak for 10 minutes. Warm water enhances the aromas, resulting in a more appealing mash. The recommended ratio is one part mix to five parts water (for example, 100g of Ulsa-X Prebiotic Mash mixed with 500ml of warm water).

Keep in mind that if your horse tends to gulp their feed they may be at risk of choking. For such animals, it is advisable to soak thoroughly to create a mash.

Lower dosage as a supplement: For horses under stress due to competition, travel, frequent changes in routine or diet, recovery from surgery or antibiotics, on box rest, or older horses, feed a small cup (50g to 100g) two to three times a day.

Higher dosage as a feed: For horses needing to gain weight, provide 100g to 200g per 100kg of body weight each day, divided into meals (for instance, 250g to 500g twice daily for a 500kg horse).

Note that one 500ml cup of Ulsa-X weighs approximately 230g.

A scientifically formulated, multiple prebiotic supplement, including a patented fermented extract from Jerusalem Artichoke.

It supports the efficient functioning of the horse’s digestive system by supporting an optimal balance of beneficial gut microbes versus harmful species of gut bacteria.

When fed in higher quantities Ulsa-X can improve condition.

Suitable for horses which require support to maintain gastrointestinal health, those prone to competition stress, older horses and convalescing horses. A complementary feed for equines
